Only ultra-precision ceramic bearings are used. To balance rotor assemblies, we utilize a two-plane dynamic balancer which offers many advantages over a simple vibration analyzer. The imbalance in turbo pump rotors can only be eliminated by mass correction in at least two planes perpendicular to the shaft axis. Our two-plane dynamic balancer pinpoints the angle and mass of imbalance. Adjustments are carefully made until the balancer’s microprocessor determines the assembly’s residual imbalance is within tolerances.

Turbo Vacuum achieves a Balance Quality Grade of G-1(ISO1940/1 & ANSI S2.19) which provides superior bearing life.

Controller Services

Turbo Vacuum is one of the only companies which provides turbo pump controller services of every make and model. Many times, a turbo pump may not perform properly due to an electrical problem with a controller. It is always suggested that a controller is inspected and tested with your specific turbo pump if a failure has occurred.

Each controller is completely repaired and tested to meet all original manufacturer’s specifications. Controllers are serviced and tested by trained electrical technicians using a documented test procedure. Final testing procedures include a comprehensive run-up with the appropriate turbo pump using your controller cables, if sent in. A detailed test report is provided and all defective parts are replaced.
